RIS located in Richardson, Texas (Cityline) is looking for a candidate to
join our world-class engineering team as a Database Engineer Lead. The Database
Engineer Lead will be primarily responsible for leading the effort (analysis,
design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the work) to create a data
storage architecture in both C2S and on premise, which allows for
bi-directional replication. This will include a solution for the migration of
data from the current Sybase databases into the new data storage architecture,
as well as the new ETL (extract, transform, and load) layer. The solution will
modernize how data is currently entered, cleansed, and conditioned to remove
manual steps.

The Database Engineer Lead will utilize the Government-provided conceptual
data model, along with the results of the other DTMI Tasks, in order to derive
the appropriate logical and physical data models required for the database
design and implementation. Additionally, the Database Engineer Lead will be
lead for all database performance optimization, scaling, and administration
activities, and will ensure the activities undertaken in the other relevant
tasks for this initiative support a well designed and implemented data
environment.

? Possess the following certifications:

? DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II Certification including
Security+

? Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification

? Experience in non-relational databases such as NoSQL WideTable.

? Experience with scaling complex and high volume relational databases.

? Experience with database administration and security.

? Experience using conceptual data models to inform accurate, effective, and
efficient database design.

? Experience with cloud development and Agile processes and resources
